WITCH is an opera in one act Freya Waley-Cohen with libretto by Ruth Mariner. It is inspired by the poetry of Rebecca Tamás.
It was commissioned by the Royal Academy of Music to celebrate their 200th anniversary and staged in the Susie Sainsbury Theatre in 2022, directed by Polly Graham, conducted by Ryan Wigglesworth.
It is scored for 10 singers and chamber orchestra.
